Every year we raise funds for a different native charity with a t-shirt fundraiser. 2024 charity: Adopt a Native Elder Program. This program is focused on the needs of the elders within tribes found in the American Southwest. Click on the link to learn more about the organization. Our goal is to get to 50 shirts! What is a Powwow?
The powwow is a modern celebration that can be seen within many Native American nations. All year-round, powwows are put on in the United States and Canada. Each event is made up of singers and dancers that wish to come together to express their culture through music and dancing. Modern powwows pull elements from many native nations around the continent, so every region might do something a little different. The one thing all of them have in common is sharing cultures.

Linda "Mother of Birds" Zieber
Linda Zieber (1948-2023) was a very outspoken community member for many decades. With her children, she was seen at almost all of the Mid-Atlantic powwows throughout the years.
For the 2024 Iron Hill Powwow, there will be a give away in her honor from the family of Linda to all participants.
