Let us help you teach children about the area of Iron Hill and its diverse offerings. From the geology of Jasper to the culture of the Lenape people, the Iron Hill Science Center can offer a wide perspective on our local area and history. Our Programs focus on earth science, archaeology, Native American studies, natural history, and paleontology. These programs address State of Delaware Curriculum Framework standards and benchmarks.

Outreach Programs
We welcome outreach reservations seven days a week. We do ask that you call or email to request an outreach at least 48 hours ahead of the trip day. This is to make sure we do not have conflicts and can serve you to the best of our abilities.

Homeschoolers
Designed with the homeschooling community in mind, our programs feature subjects related to the Iron Hill region and beyond. We have Homeschool Wednesdays that will focus on a certain topic monthly during the school year (registration is required). We also have our standard program tiers- Nature at a Glance, Learning Together, & Geology + Collect.
